An Australian team excavated the Nullarbor caves. The project was a collaborative effort between the Western Australian Museum and the Flinders Univ. to search for Megafauna fossils in this remote and isolated area.

As well as capturing this unique footage and providing glimpses into the work of scientists, the expedition team, consisting of a documentary director, paleontologist and a gaming expert, are undertaking the trip as the first step in the creation of an electronic game and transmedia world.

This video looks at an amazing new discovery—potentially new a species of eagle—a spectacular discovery. Gavin Prideaux of Flinders Univ. later consulted with Trevor Worthing, a bird paleontologist, from the Univ. of NSW who confirmed that it was, in fact, an eagle.
