Class II, Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinets

February 2009

Purifier Logic Biosafety Cabinet Video
This video demonstrates the features, benefits and operation of the Purifier Biosafety Cabinet.

Labconco Corporation presents a new video that highlights new features and shows proper user technique of the Purifier Logic Biosafety Cabinet. The video explains the difference between fume hoods and biological safety cabinets and expands on where to find important data on biological safety cabinet listing requirements with NSF International.

New electronically commutated motor (ECM) technology is explained with energy-efficient information such as being 60% more energy efficient than other types of motors, runs cooler, and is more powerful which helps filters last longer.

The Purifier Logic Biosafety Cabinet is menu driven so by automating certain features, valuable time is saved and assures consistent operation. Programs that can be automatic include start-up and shut-down operations. An LCD constantly displays HEPA filter life so there is never any guesswork.

Proper user technique is explained in step-by-step instruction — from planning and acquainting you with the cabinet to how to properly prepare the cabinet and the materials that will be used inside it.

You can also request a copy of the video to be sent to you by calling 800-732-0031.
