Columns Enable Scalable Chromatography

Ultra II column lineUltra II column line is specifically designed for universal application and is built on a highly inert, high surface area silica, providing superior column-to-column reproducibility. The columns are available in a comprehensive range of particle sizes (1.9, 2.2, 3 and 5 µm), creating scalable chromatography on any type of LC instrument, from conventional to ultra-high pressure systems. In addition, traditional phases (C18, Aqueous C18, Silica) and unique chemistries providing alternate selectivity (Biphenyl, Aromax, PFP-Propyl) are also offered. A complete listing of available phases, particle sizes and column dimensions can be found at www.restek.com/hplc.

Slow and Steady Wins the Race
In the 100 years since Marie Curie won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, women have made leaps and bounds in science and engineering. Following the extreme example of Madame Curie, women have exponentially raised their position in S&E in the last few decades. In a field previously (and traditionally) dominated by men, women seem to be slowly but surely taking over—or at least leveling the playing field. ...continue
