The Stoelting Just For Mouse stereotaxic instrument is for researchers in need of a versatile, reliable stereotaxic for procedures with mice and other small rodents. Precision alignment when using the instrument ensures accurate placement of electrodes, micropipettes, cannula and other devices. Just For Mouse is the only instrument built especially for mice, and offers several advantages. The smaller size and price make it suited for permanent use behind barrier facilities in animal housing units. The instrument’s ear and bite bar posts may be independently adjusted in height to level the skull. Also, the small base plate offers the smallest complete stereotaxic instrument on the market. An additional manipulator arm can be added for dual arm stereotaxic protocols, previously not available on other stereotaxic instruments designed for mice. Digital and motorized options are also available.
