Formulation and Mixing Work Area Ensures Clean Lab

The HEMCO Modulab lab room isolates powder and liquid materials when they are being formulated and mixed, keeping them free of contamination and keeping associated fumes and particulate from returning to the work area.

The room features a pre-engineered modular construction that allows clean, fast installation. The superstructure is built to meet exact size and design requirements. A selection of door and window options addresses user-specific needs.

The ceiling-mounted HEPA filters remove any airborne particulate from contaminating mixing processes. Overhead fluorescent lighting, electrical and data ports, and a circuit box load center are included. Air supply can be from the surrounding building, or a dedicated HVAC system can be provided to meet room airflow conditions.

Lab furniture including countertops, sinks, shelving, and fume hoods meet the needs of a given work process. Lab cabinets can be located along walls, as peninsulas or as islands. A fume hood with built-in filters further isolates spraying operations by catching overspray and exhausting fumes to the outside. A selection of cabinet drawer/door styles and fume hood sizes are also offered.
