Hamilton Storage Technologies introduces the SAMple Puncher, an integrated tube processing module, to its -20 and -80 C Sample Access Manager (SAM) systems, enabling automated punching of tubes from their storage trays. With this feature, users have the flexibility to add the automated SAM systems to library environments that use REMP labware. The SAM handles and stores multiple labware types from a range of manufacturers and is suited for compound management and biobanking applications. Proprietary SAM systems deliver more functionality than other automated platforms and are more cost efficient. SAM systems offer tracking and access features for sample security, one- and two-dimensional barcode reading and liquid nitrogen backup. Additionally, the SAM software provides complete audit trails and tools for chain of custody and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
