LC-MS-MS Increases Sensitivity without Increasing Noise

LC-MS-MS Increases Sensitivity without Increasing NoiseThe TSQ Vantage from Thermo Scientific is an LC-MS-MS system that, with the help of innovations in ionization efficiency and ion transmission, delivers superior sensitivity without a commensurate increase in noise. This helps provide better reproducibility and precision in the quantitative analysis of small molecules, biomolecules and peptides. The built-in S-Lens ion optics system employs advanced electrostatic field technology to capture virtually every ion and efficiently transfer it into the HyperQuad quadrupole mass analyzer. The S-Lens design eliminates mass discrimination and lowers the gas load on expensive turbo-molecular pumps, keeping the ion optical path clean for a long time while maintaining sensitivity. TSQ Vantage can also be coupled with the Transcend sample extraction system, which is suited for analyzing complex matrices on the mass spectrometer. Transcend doubles sample analysis while reducing sample preparation time and increasing detection limits. When combined with the TSQ Vantage, it also leverages instrument sensitivity, auto-sampling and LC columns to deliver a high-productivity, online, end-to-end workflow solution for analyzing organic molecules.
