Automated Micro Bioreactor System

Automated Micro Bioreactor SystemThe ambr advanced micro bioreactor system from The Automation Partnership (TAP) replicates the characteristics of classic bioreactors at microscale (10- to 15-mL working volume) by using cost-effective, disposable micro bioreactors controlled by an automated workstation. The system enables rapid evaluation of multiple bioreactor cultures (24 in parallel), improving productivity in cell line development with savings on materials and labor. Furthermore, it also offers a new, cost-effective route for cell line selection and early process development.

The infrastructure requirements, overheads, and labor costs of working with bench-scale bioreactors limit their use in many organizations. Offering a solution, ambr not only saves time by automating set up, sampling, and maintenance of 24 individual disposable bioreactors, but also mimics the physical characteristics of a classic bioreactor.
