Thermal Desorption Instrument Samples Trace Toxic Chemicals Booth 1806. The Markes International TD-100 thermal desorption instrument, suited for gas chromatography, incorporates sample re-collection for repeat analysis and electrical cooling to lower running costs and maintain instrument up time. The system is compatible with all TD-compatible compound types, including VOC, SVOC and reactive species, from high concentration to trace level samples.
Fully automated, the instrument couples to any make of GC or GC-MS and complies with standard methods. Suited for high-throughput labs, the system is capable of the sequential analysis of 100 sorbent tubes and offers reliable, unattended operation for extended periods. The instrument includes RFID sample sorbent tube tracking technology (TubeTAG), making sample and tube tracking hassle-free and eliminating chance of errors.
The instrument samples and analyzes trace toxic and odorous chemicals (VOC and SVOC) in air/gas and materials. Applications include materials emissions testing, environmental/indoor air monitoring, food, flavor and fragrance profiling, civil defence and forensics.
