User-Centered LIMS

User-Centered LIMSSAPPHIRE 5.1 from LabVantage is a zero-footprint, configurable, off-the-shelf LIMS that consolidates the functionality found in multiple laboratory systems. The software manages laboratory information across its worldwide R&D pipeline and manufacturing supply chain.

The LIMS offers a new approach to data collection and presentation. eForms provide a configurable approach to creating and filling out forms electronically. Without the need for programming skills, eForms replace the traditional way of interacting with paper forms and curtail the learning curve required for new software applications.

Grid data entry leverages dynamic techniques to allow real-time rich-data visualization via a grid-/spreadsheet-enabled interface, creating an end-user-centric data entry environment.

The LIMS also provides clinical protocol management, clinical kit management offering full-featured logistics and inventory management, and clinical eForms for capturing clinical and patient data. In addition, built-in configuration reporting tools support validation efforts.

Other features include study management for comprehensive maintenance and tracking of sites, participants, and visits; quality management for reduced testing and skip-lot testing along with sample planning; and built-in configuration reporting tools that support validation.
