Unlike  typical demountable stainless steel cells, Gemini Mercury series gas cells are constructed of electro-polished 316 stainless steel with welded VCR connections,  making them highly resistant to aggressive gases and vacuum tight to 1x10 -8  Torr.  The cells vacuum test at 2x10-10 cc std sec. Pathlengths are 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 15 cm. They can be configured with  base plates, heaters, any IR window material and insulating purge connections extending to the side of the sample compartment.  One and five cm cells can be mounted in a standard spectrophotometer slide mount.
