A&D Weighing’s HR-A and HR-AZ series of analytical balances fulfills a need for flexible, reliable balances in a compact format. The HR-A models are available in three capacities—102, 152 and 252 g, all with 0.1 mg readability (resolution). The HR-AZ models add automatic internal calibration for quicker, more accurate measurements. To increase measurement accuracy, an anti-static breeze break is standard with all models, because static electricity can seriously compromise precision weighing. The shatterproof breeze break also reduces the risk of accidental breakage and contamination, which is especially important in pharmaceutical (FDA) environments and food (HACCP) applications. Rotary doors mean that the balance needs no extra space with the doors open—suited for use in crowded glove boxes and fume hoods.
