Datalogger Can Collect Information From Two Locations
Fri, 11/30/2012 - 11:02am

LISTED UNDER:

The Omega iTHX-SD-5D Datalogger records temperature, relative humidity and dew point over an Ethernet network or the Internet, and locally on an SD card. The dual-channel feature allows for measurement of data from two locations. For example, users can measure and chart temperature and relative humidity of the local area, as well as temperature and humidity of another location 10 ft away. The device can trigger an alarm if the temperature or humidity goes above or below a user set point. The alarms can be sent by email to a single user or to a group distribution list, including text messages to cell phones and PDA’s. The datalogger comes complete with a removable 2 GB SD Flash Memory card that can store up to 7 yr of readings taken at 10-sec intervals. The data format is a simple text file that is easily imported to spreadsheets and other programs. It can be read directly on a PC or MAC with a USB card reader. Users can also download the data remotely over an Ethernet network or the Internet.
