The Magnum 50-kV X-ray tube from Moxtek is a low-power, miniature X-ray tube used for a variety of applications, including portable XRF, handheld imaging, benchtop EDXRF, instrument calibration, micro-fluorescence, micro-diffraction, and other handheld and benchtop instrumentation. The small, compact X-ray tubes are lightweight and allow close coupling of the collimator and target. They also provide low-power consumption and high X-ray output, and can be packaged into custom enclosures. Each portable tube is versatile and comfortable and features close coupling of the source to the detector. Other features include higher X-ray output with a lower power tube, long battery life and short sampling time.
