Digital Microscope Integrates Imaging and Measurement Capabilities  The VHX-1000 Series digital microscope from Keyence integrates advanced functionality into a streamlined, all-in-one unit, launching microscopy into the next generation. The instrument features the first 16-bit imaging resolution, which makes subtle color differences visible and thus increases the levels of color gradation from 256 to 65,536.
The new DOUBLE’R Zoom Recognition system allows the microscope to recognize which lens is mounted to the camera and the current magnification. The VHX also offers a depth-of-field at least 20x greater than conventional microscopes. The 3-CCD handheld camera captures up to 54-mp images, and the selection of zoom lenses (up to 5000x magnification) provides superior image quality.
Targets can be freely observed at all angles without target manipulation with the multi-angle viewing stand. Through simple mouse operations, the VHX-1000 performs measurements, and, for larger targets, real-time 2-D stitching up to 10,000 x 10,000 pixels is available.
