Probe Ensures Measurement Results
Booth 4129.
The LBOD IntelliCAL probe measures dissolved oxygen in biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) applications. It features an active stirrer for measuring BOD and eliminates measurement uncertainty associated with membranes. With an integrated active stirrer, the probe complies with requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-based BOD5 and CBOD testing. This LDO technology has been approved and recommended by the EPA. It is fully approved in many states for measuring and reporting dissolved oxygen and BOD in municipal and industrial waste water facilities. The probe calibrates in less than 1 minute, and with no membranes or electrolytes to replace and no electrodes to polish, it requires little maintenance.
