Benchtop Crystallizations

Benchtop CrystallizationsZinsser Analytic supplies a range of manual benchtop synthesis stations from Eyela. The process station is useful for designing new synthesis methodologies (polycondensations, reflux reactions, catalysts, pressurized hydrogenations/carbonylations/polymerisations), process development, process optimization and process scale up.

The system comprises five scalable independent reaction stations, each with magnetic stirring, individual temperature control for both heating and cooling (-10 to 150 C), optional individual reflux control and inert gas purging. The station can also be adapted for crystallizations to allow the subsequent structural analysis (such as XRD or Raman microscopy) of newly synthesized products with the use of specific hardware. Efficient overhead stirring enables the handling of highly viscous media (up to 10,000 cP), and accurate temperature control with ramping allows easy implementation of reproducible heating and cooling cycles. The final crystals can be dried under a stream of inert gas or vacuum.

This flexible, compact system is suited for any material, chemical or pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory.
