Standardless Analysis Package

Standardless Analysis PackageThe latest module in PANalytical's SuperQ software suite, the Omnian standardless analysis package can be used with the Axios sequential X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectrometer. It is suited for characterization and analysis of unknown samples or for situations in which certified standards that match specific sample characteristics are not available. The package can handle a variety of sample types, including solids, pressed powders, fused beads, loose powders and liquids. In addition, it deals with analytical challenges including sample quantification, screening and failure analysis, as well as the comparison of different materials. The system adjusts automatically to sample and matrix effects, sample thickness, volume, and dark–matrix composition and can be fine-tuned for increased accuracy by using adaptive sample characterization.
