The Hamilton Distinction II adaptable laboratory furniture system from Thermo Scientific easily integrates into any lab with an adaptable design and contemporary look to enhance functionality and aesthetics. Each modular, environmentally friendly unit is constructed from reclaimed steel, combined with components from renewable sources such as bamboo, agriboard and medium-density fiberboard, enabling labs to meet LEED criteria. The pre-wired and pre-piped bench enables quick connection to the utility ceiling service panel and reduces initial costs using factory-installed mechanical services. Power bars, needle-point fixtures and under-shelf lighting provide an unobstructed and well-illuminated work surface. In addition, the manufacturing process for these eco-friendly workstations does not lead to any volatile organic compound emissions or off-gassing. Able to adapt to current and future requirements, the units allow users to change the workstations’ configurations and room layouts or to move entire labs with minimum downtime, cost and effort.
