LC/MS Solvent Blends


A new grade of J.T.Baker analytical solvents and solvent blends specially formulated for liquid chromatography/mass spectroscopy (LC/MS) and liquid chromatography/ultraviolet (LC/UV) applications are available. They are produced from high-purity liquid chromatography (HPLC) grades, carefully blended, function-tested and labeled with application test results. Providing consistent, reproducible performance, the solvents and blends are ready to use, eliminating the need for cleaning glassware, measuring corrosive acids and purchasing excess reagents. They also extend column life due to lower impurity levels in the mobile phase, resulting in less irreversible absorption and lower associated costs. Available in one- and four-liter bottles are acetonitrile, acetonitrile (0.1% formic acid), acetonitrile (0.1% TFA), methanol, methanol (0.1% formic acid), water, water (0.1% formic acid), water (0.1% TFA).
