Particle Size and Shape Analyzer Automates Sieving Process W.S. Tyler's HAVER TYLER CPA 2-1 photo-optical particle size and shape analyzer is suited for measuring dry, free flowing, and non-agglomerating particles. A test sieve and shaker analysis typically takes 15 to 20 min to complete; however, the CPA 2-1 performs the same analysis in an average of 3 to 5 min. Also, in contrast to a traditional test sieving process that "measure" particles by calculating the percentage of a selected standard size of a representative sample, this analyzer accurately counts and measures each individual particle of a representative material sample in real time. Advanced, user-friendly software correlates the raw particle count data curve to the sieving distribution curve for comparison. The software also allows the user to build traditional test sieving "intelligence" into the unit.
