Liquid Handling Workstations Feature Touch-Screen Monitors

Liquid Handling Workstations Feature Touch-Screen MonitorsHamilton's Microlab STAR and STARlet liquid handing workstations now have a touch-screen monitor option, providing increased ease of use and space savings. Featuring Windows 7 capabilities, the touch screen minimizes the need for a separate keyboard and mouse. Users can customize their graphical interface with windows that can be moved or scrolled through with finger movements. The monitor is supported by propriety VENUS software and suited for entering data, creating methods and making decisions during a run. The 19" monitor can be positioned at an angle up to approximately 135 degrees, mounted on the right side of the instrument, and can be folded up when not in use.
