Planetary Mills Rapidly Grind to -1 µm

Planetary Mills Rapidly Grind to -1 µmBooth 1829. Fritsch's classic line of planetary mills is suited for rapid loss-free ultra-fine grinding down to colloidal fineness of hard to soft materials dry or in suspension. In addition to comminution, the mills can also be used for mixing and homogenizing emulsions and pastes or for mechanical alloying and activation in materials research.

The mills allow fast grinding to <1 µm and up to 800 rpm. The Safe-Lock-System permits safe clamping of the bowls. Grinding bowls and balls are available in eight different materials to suit all needs and avoid contamination through abrasion. Featuring ergonomic handling and easy cleaning, the mills provide consistent reproducibility and a long life even under heavy-duty usage.

The mills are suited for comminuting samples with a maximum feed particle size of 10 mm and a sample quantity of 0.5 to 900 mL, down to a final fineness below 1 µm dry or in suspension. Available in different configurations, the classic line can be used in geology and mineralogy, ceramics, chemistry, and biology applications.
