Precise HEPA-filtered glove boxes from Labconco provide a physical barrier to protect the operator from hazardous airborne particulates and powders. These units have uses in pharmaceutical research, nanotechnology and biochemistry applications and may be used for cleanroom applications requiring ISO Class III (ISO 14644-1) conditions. The glove box features a one-piece-molded, medium-density polyethylene shell with a black, chemical-resistant work surface sealed to the floor and a viewing window of 1/4" thick laminated safety glass. Inner and outer transfer chamber doors that pivot upward are counterbalanced and equipped with quick-latches and a pressure relief valve. A built-in blower with a speed control offers airflow from 13 to 100 CFM. Main chamber interiors of the glove boxes measure 13 cu ft, while the transfer chamber measures 11'' x 12''. Inlet and outlet HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient on 0.3-micron particulates and include a test port for challenging HEPA filter integrity. Included in the line are Basic, Controlled Atmosphere, and Xpert Weigh glove boxes.
