Measurement Platform Features Six Sensor Inputs

LabNavigatorThe LabNavigator from Forston Labs is a multi-technology/multi-sensor analytical measurement platform that can be used as a computer interface, as a standalone device or in the field. The platform features six sensor inputs (electrochemical, turbidity, spectrophotometer and more), 100-k samples/sec collection rate, and built-in graphing and analysis software.

The platform can be powered by an internal battery or via AC power, and features 40-MB on-board data storage with further expansion through SD/MMC card and a USB drive. The 320- x 240-pixel color touchscreen is visible outdoors, and the splash-proof enclosure with rubber molding provides shock absorption.

Other features include a built-in air temperature sensor, microphone, sound sensor, on-screen keyboard, and onboard periodic table. The platform also makes note taking during experiments and exporting data to a PC easy.
