Traceable Waterproof Food Thermometer

Traceable Waterproof Food ThermometerControl Company's Traceable waterproof food thermometer features membrane switches, an ABS body and stainless steel probe that make it suited for food labs, food processing, food preparation and brewing. Waterproof construction allows the device to be used in labs, plants, wash-down areas and the field. In addition, the dangers inherent in breakable glass and toxic mercury thermometers have been eliminated.

The thermometer ranges from -58 to 572 F and -50 to 300 C. Resolution is 0.1 from -20 to 200 (1 otherwise), and accuracy is ±1.5 C. The Ultra model's accuracy is ±0.4 C at tested points. At the touch of a button, it displays minimum and maximum readings over any period.

A holder allows the probe to be positioned at any height while attached to beakers, stainless cylinders or vats. Other features include a flat-profile design, 1-oz weight, and a built-in pocket clip, all of which make carrying the device in a shirt pocket easy. The probe guard snaps to the handle to extend the overall length to 10.75". Readings are updated every second.

The device comes with the probe holder, key chain and lanyard. The large, bright LCD measures 0.25" high, and the thermometer operates continuously for 1.5 years on a supplied, replaceable silver-oxide battery. The stem length measures 3.5", the diameter 0.14", and the overall length 7.25".

To ensure accuracy, an individually serial-numbered Traceable Certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA, indicating traceability to NIST standards.
