For scientists working in high-throughput robotic applications, Thermo Scientific’s rigid ABgene Diamond Ultra 384-well PCR plate is manufactured with a warp-resistant polymer, allowing consistent plate dimensions during thermal cycling and reducing problems when removing plates from thermal cyclers. The strength of the proprietary polymer also contributes to maintaining the integrity of the seal, reducing evaporation. The well design lessens splash-back during pipetting steps, and the uniform, thin walls allow rapid and consistent heat transfer and clarity for visual plate checks. The plates are available in boxes of 50 and are available barcoded or in opaque white for sensitivity in QPCR applications. Application-tested according to QC protocols, the plates are also certified free from DNase, RNase and genomic/human DNA.
