Instrumental Method Assigns USP and EP Color Values

Instrumental Method Assigns USP and EP Color ValuesBooth 1440. HunterLab offers an objective, instrumental method to assign USP and/or EP color values using the UltraScan PRO and UltraScan VIS color measurement instruments. USP and EP color indices are available on EasyMatch QC software, which is part of the two color measurement systems.

To determine the color values, users simply place the sample in a curvette and make a quick measurement using one of the instruments that provides the closest USP or EP color. EasyMatch QC software is also available with an electronic recordkeeping version that is CFR 21 Part 11 compliant. Both the UltraScan PRO and UltraScan VIS conform to USP Method 1061.
