Bio: Tim Studt has been with Advantage Business Media (previously Reed Business Information) for more than 20 years, the last 13 of which as Editor in Chief of R&D Magazine and Laboratory Design Newsletter. Tim’s editorial staff has won more than 30 business press awards on science and technology topics including the coveted Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award. He also founded 3 additional business publications, 6 print and electronic newsletters, and 4 Web sites, along with creating numerous supplements, conferences, surveys, white papers, directories, calendars, posters, webcasts, videos, and other associated business media products. Tim has a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from Lewis University.

Bio: Ashley Glowinski first joined the Laboratory Equipment team in July 2009 as an Associate Editor, where she assisted with the successful launch of Lab News Daily, the magazine's daily eNewsletter. In June 2010, Ashley accepted the role as Laboratory Equipment's Assistant Managing Editor. Prior to Advantage Business Media, Ashley was a media relations intern with NBC Universal's Corporate Communications department. She also served in a public relations position for the Schreyer Honors College. Ashley earned her B.A. in Public Relations/Advertising from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, P.A.

Bio: Michelle Longo joined the Laboratory Equipment team in June 2010 as an Associate Editor. Prior to working on Laboratory Equipment, Michelle was an Editorial Intern with the magazine's sister publication, Scientific Computing. Michelle earned her B.A. in Journalism from Elon University, Elon, N.C. While there, she was involved with the student newspaper for four years, as well as the local elementary school.
