Co-Rotating Twin Screw Extruder
The Mini-Compounder TSE 12/36 is a miniature co-rotating twin screw extruder with applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries for developing new products. The extruder features an integrated drive with 2.4-kW output and reaches speeds up to 600 rpm. Divided horizontally, the clam shell barrel can be tilted open to allow visual assessment of individual processing steps. This feature also facilitates mounting the screws and cleaning the barrel quickly. The modular screw concept offers individual processing possibilities. The unit is supported by CAN open bus technology.
