The C18 2.1-µm particle, suited for use in ultra high pressure chromatography, is manufactured from a pure silica template. This offers the resolution gains of small particles without the need to move below 2 µm in size. The range will be expanded to include other bonding technologies, allowing analysts to separate complex mixtures by selectivity as well as efficiency. Fully scalable to 3- and 5-µm particles, the particle is suitable for those needing full method development flexibility.
