Vision System Central to Cascade Impactor Validation Service

A stage mensuration service is available for validating cascade impactors used for characterizing inhaled products. Because the impactors’ accuracy depends on the nozzles’ size at each stage of the instrument, the service involves measuring each nozzle to assess wear and corrosion. Central to the service, the Mitutoyo QV404 automated vision inspection system delivers optimal reproducibility of 1 micron to a 99% confidence interval. Features include auto-focus, auto-backlight illumination and dual measurement capabilities: edge detection and illuminated pixels.
