Disposable Syringe Filters Provide Fast Filtration of Solutions
A complete line of disposable syringe filters provides fast filtration of aqueous and organic solutions. They are made with a variety of membrane materials with a polypropylene housing using advanced design features. The CA-CN (cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate) membrane material has uniform pore size structure and extensive pore size characterization. It is useful for cell retention and particle collection applications. Nylon membranes are used to filter small aqueous and organic samples with low hold-up volume in order to inject them directly into the HPLC sample loop systems. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) membranes are heat- and chemical-resistant. Water vapor/gases pass through even when the differential pressure is low, and liquid water will not permeate the pores. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane filters the most aggressive solvents, acids and base samples.
