Deep UV Laser Ablation System
The Coherent GeoLas Pro is an automated, high-end, deep UV laser ablation system for solid sampling analysis via ICP-MS. The advanced design combines a high-energy, 193-nm excimer laser, a highly homogenized optical beam path, and optimal viewing capability with a petrographic microscope and high resolution CCD camera. The ArF excimer laser features an output energy of 200 mJ and energy density of 1 to 45 J/cm2 while the petrographic microscope provides superior sample observation and small feature analysis. A versatile research tool, the system provides all encompassing solid sampling from high precision isotope ratios measurements to detailed fluid inclusion analysis.
