Chiral SPE Cartridges Separate One Enantiomer from the Second

Chiral SPE cartridges allow chemists to enrich in minutes what takes hours using traditional methods. Currently, 1-, 3- and 6-mL cartridges and well-plates are available. Certain import molecules are made of mirror-image molecules, called enantiomers, that have to be separated from each other. The cartridge extracts one enantiomer while allowing the second to flow through by utilizing advanced nanotechnology to provide a shape-based solution to a shape-based problem. Thus the cartridges are effective with a range of chiral compounds and allow standalone chiral sample preparation or enrichment under a range of conditions.
