Simple, Cut-In Laser Microdissection with MMI CapLift Technology

The upgraded SmartCut Plus now includes automated single CapLift with adjustable contact pressure. The PenDisplay option and more advanced SmartCut Plus software have further enhanced functionality. New features increase the ability to reduce sample handling and contamination when isolating cells for downstream analysis in routine applications. The compact standalone optical-based dissection instrument utilizes a high precision solid state UV laser and is based on picosecond pulses, making it suited for pathology, forensic medicine, or teaching and educational purposes. It is a highly precise but cost-effective tool fully integrated with the inverted CKX41 microscope, enabling users to simply switch on and start microdissecting. Designed specifically for easy use in daily micromanipulation routines of both fixed and living cells, the device is also capable of isolating groups of cells, single cells and cell compartments for downstream molecular analyses.
