Low Bleed, Inert Capillary GC Columns

The SLB line of low bleed, inert and durable capillary GC columns is suited for trace analyses. All columns incorporate a combination of advances in polymer synthesis, proprietary surface deactivation chemistry and manufacturing processes. Features include a high signal-to-noise ratio, clean mass spectra, low detector contamination and high peak shape. The columns also provide quick baseline stabilization, column-to-column reproducibility, and stability for extended periods at the maximum operating temperature. SLB-5ms, a silphenylene chemistry with a polarity virtually equivalent to 5% phenyl polymethylsiloxane, is the first phase introduced. This non-polar column is suited for environmental semivolatile and pesticide/PCB analysis.
