Particle Size and Velocity Measurement Systems
Phase Doppler Interferometry (PDI) systems offer accuracy and repeatability, reduced risk of error, and simple setup in particle/drop size measurement analysis. Some advantages are the elimination of using inefficient and unreliable fiber optics, the expansion of the measurement range, and an automated setup. Components include an optical system using solid-state lasers, an Advanced Signal Analyzer (ASA) signal processing system and Automated Instrument Management System (AIMS). The PDI systems are available in a variety of configurations—modular 1-D, 2-D and 3-D and self-contained 1-D, 2-D and 3-D.
