Evaporation Accessory Makes Large Volume Sample Pooling Easy
Available in three sizes of 50, 125, and 300 mL, the SampleGenie accessory enables the EZ-2 and HT series centrifugal evaporators to accelerate the pooling of multiple large volume fractions into a single, small sample vial. Constructed with choice of glass or 316-L stainless steel, the unit copes with most solvent types. Using the accessory, the HT-4X evaporator can dry 24 samples, each containing 50 mL of water, in parallel in less than 9 hours. In conjunction with proprietary LyoSpeed methods, 24 samples containing 25 mL of water/acetonitrile each can be fast lyophilized in approximately 7 hours. The sample concentrators deliver high performance, ease of use and compatibility with most commonly used solvents and acids. The accessory, however, further extends the utility of these systems by providing an efficient tool for pooling and rapidly concentrating large volume samples.
