Self-Contained, Compact Evaporation/Concentration System
The high performance and compact EZ-Bio is a self-contained, benchtop evaporation/concentration system suited for life science laboratories. Built-in programs for common life science experiments include DNA purification, DNA extraction, oligosynthesis, protein purification and removal of aqueous mixtures. The instrument can remove 1 mL of water from each 1.5-mL micro centrifuge tube (in a block of 64) in 2.5 hours without taking the tubes above 40 C. The integral refrigerated vapor trap captures and condenses the removed solvents so drying times do not increase as more samples are added to the load. Interchangeable sample holders are available for all common formats.
