General Purpose Centrifuge Accelerates Sample Preparation
The Sorvall Legend T and RT Plus 3-L centrifuge is a fully integrated, high throughput system that includes a range of high capacity, high performance rotors and adapters for both clinical and research applications. The strong yet lightweight properties of the carbon fiber rotors allow superior g-forces. This delivers super-speed centrifugation in a benchtop centrifuge: 14- × 50-mL conical tubes; 8- × 50-mL conical tubes at over 22000 × g; 6- × 250-mL bottles at 15000 × g; 48- × 1.5/2-mL at over 24000 × g; and 28- × 50-mL conical tubes in the swinging bucket rotor in sealed conditions. The combination of capacity and processing power allows researchers to spin more samples in less time, which leaves more time to focus on results. Additional features include a low-profile design, the EASYset soft-touch keypad, the SMARTspin imbalance detection system and numerous other safety and convenience features.
