Data Management Module Added to LIMS

A data management functionality has been incorporated into Nautilus LIMS version 8.0. Now installed with Data Manager, the laboratory information management system can capture, archive and store both derived and raw instrument data, permitting users instant access and manipulation of the data without the original software. The data management module is a storage and retrieval system that understands and preserves analytical data, documents and PDF files. The module also converts instrument data to a vendor-neutral XML format and allows automatic linking to LIMS entities for instant investigation of suspect results.
