Versatile IR Detector Offers Extended Sensor Range
The upgraded, more versatile Orion Plus IR detector is a compact, hand-held, multi-gas monitor. Offering over 20 different sensors, the unit can be customized to fit virtually any user need. Sensing technology options include electrochemical, catalytic combustion and highly-reliable dual-beam infrared for tough applications. An extended sensor range—from phosphine to sulphur dioxide—increases the flexibility and value, and the advanced design makes the unit a suitable personal monitor, as well as a pre-entry confined space check device. Advanced features include IR options for 0 to 10% VOL CO2, 0 to 100% LEL or 0 to 100% VOL CH4; a poison-resistant catalytic sensor; and standard integral pump and data logging. The range of e-chem sensors include Cl2 and NH3. Interchangeable NiMH or alkaline battery packs and an easy-to-read large graphical display are also featured.
