Services Distribution System Maximizes Flexibility
The Lab Services Distribution Module (LDSM) offers flexibility in furniture rearranging by supplying users with gases, water, power and network connectivity, and point-of-use exhaust where needed. A typical module is 3-, 4- or 7-ft. long and features standard quick-disconnect fittings for lab gases, water and ventilation, data ports and a power track that handles 110 and 208 V power. A 14-ft. long module is supplied with 60 amps, making it possible to reduce the number of panel boards serving each floor. In addition to the main system shutoff valve, each module provides its own shutoff valves for extra safety and convenience. The system features direct/indirect up-lighting and down-lighting with an option to attach task lights directly to the power track. Modules arrive at the site pre-tested, pre-plumbed, pre-wired and, thus, ready to install. They are also able to be combined with cart-mounted lab equipment, fume hoods, and mobile benches and storage units.
