Particle Counting with Raman Spectroscopy

The Single Particle Explorer offers easy/automated particle counting and identification with Raman Spectroscopy. It is supported by the patented APSys Filtr.AID system for the isolation of particles in order to automatically and reliably count particles on the filter membrane. All microscopic images of the particles are documented and automatically analyzed. Parameters such as number, length, width, and shape of the particles can be measured. Additionally, the chemical composition of the determined contaminative particles can be exactly identified with user friendly software. The identification of particles with a size of less than a micrometer is possible with the automated analysis by Raman spectroscopy and the interpretation of the integrated database. The system is designed in compliance with cGMP and is thus 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.
