Flash Chromatography System Saves Time and Space
The IntelliFlash 280 Workstation for flash chromatography provides a compact platform that fits within tight flume hoods, and minimizes set-up time and purification results by integrating a pump, column, detector, collector, and controls into one package. The control system features a built-in computer with touch screen for total process control. IntelliPeak software, a Windows based wizard, provides users with a flexible programming template for method development, execution, and archiving. Flexible peak detection algorithms enhance separation results. This fully automated system allows users to set up the system and walk away to perform other tasks, or modify the method "on the fly" and pause to make changes, resuming the program later. All method settings and purification results can be saved to standard Compact Flash memory media. A twin-piston pump system offers accurate positive displacement (۪.25% of setpoint at 125 mL/min at 100 psi) for low pulsation solvent flow and binary gradient formation. The integrated UV detector has a dynamic range from 0 to 4.0000 AU, and low baseline noise. Configurable fraction collection options include high capacity tube, bottle, and funnel collection racks. The hardware and control software operates with flash cartridge columns, increasing separation reproducibility and simplicity.
