Software Suite Expands Spectrometer Capabilities

Version 7.3 of the OMNIC professional software suite provides Raman productivity tools, enhanced data transferability, additional capabilities for regulatory compliance, and compatibility with FT-NIR systems. For time-based experiments, the software has been enhanced with new 2D and 3D data visualization tools, programmable data collection events, and integrated data processing and analysis functions that enable users to extract results from their experiments more rapidly and accurately. Additional new features improve sample analyses from Nicolet Almega XR dispersive Raman spectrometers. These include auto exposure and smart background correction, which ensure even first-time users obtain high quality spectra and shorten sample turnaround time.
