Diffuse Reflectance Accessory for Difficult Solid Sample Analysis

The easy-to-use Diffuse Reflectance Accessory (DRA), suited for use with the Evolution 600 UV-Vis spectrophotometer, offers high performance and flexibility in the material sciences and general research labs. The upward-viewing, horizontally mounted reflectance port allows the sample to be held in place by gravity. This mounting configuration enables the measurement of fragile samples without damaging insubstantial surfaces. Furthermore, users can measure large samples because the reflectance port is located outside the sample compartment. The double beam Spectralon integrating sphere ensures high levels of energy throughput and accuracy and is fully CIE compliant for performing color measurements. A transmittance port is also included for diffuse transmittance measurements of solid or turbid liquid samples.
