Portable Raman Spectrometer Uses Fiber-Coupled Sampling Probe

The low cost MiniRam II Raman spectrometer is portable, lightweight and battery operated. It leads the performance to cost ratio with a 10 cm^-1 spectral resolution in 175- to 3100-cm^-1 Raman shift range with a stabilized 785-nm excitation laser. By using a fiber-coupled sampling probe and integrated, hand-top PC, the Raman spectra of solids and liquids can be collected at the scene where the information is most useful. An integrated cuvette-based sampling system configuration is also available.
