DSC Unit Features Extended Temperature Range
The DSC 200 F3 Maia combines modern technology and high sensitivity into a robust, easy-to-operate unit. The device uses liquid nitrogen, enabling an extended temperature range of -150 C to 600 C. Additional features include a monolithic DSC sensor and a silver furnace with a long-life heating element. For routine applications, the upgraded version includes an automatic sample changer for 20 samples and reference materials. As an alternative to the LN2 liquid nitrogen cooling system, an intra-cooler is available, allowing measurements in a temperature range of -40 C to 600 C. Moreover, faster cooling can be achieved than with the air compressor, thereby increasing sample throughput.
